Breastfeed or formula milk?

What is the best thing to do? I would say there is no "best" in the world, only "most suitable".

What is the "best"? My parents' generation thought it was more civilised to eat formula milk. Indeed, human milk is the most natural, the most unadulterated and theoretically the most suitable for babies. What about formula milk? Formula milk is not toxic (laughs), it has all the same nutrients that babies need, and it can also be used as a staple food for babies. What I mean by "suitable" is not just a comparison of the physical conditions of the two, but the most balanced and effective way of feeding a mother and her baby, taking into account their different conditions and needs. For example, if a mother is breastfeeding until she screams, her body is uncomfortable and her heart is not happy, and her relationship with her husband and baby is strained, she may really need to think of other methods (mixed feed or straight head feeding).

I once met a mother who kept saying that she did not have enough milk and she was having a hard time feeding her baby every time she came back to the clinic. I remember when my baby came back for a vaccination in the 4th month, the first thing my mother asked me after she sat down was, "Can I not breastfeed? I really don't like it and I don't enjoy it!" I immediately told her, "Of course! I explained to her that the mental health of both the mother and the baby is equally important, and since you are not enjoying it after all the hard work, it's okay to give up! After listening to this, the mother was so happy.

The point is, after all, the most important thing is that the whole family is happy. At least from a mother's and a girl's point of view, I think it's the "best" thing to do first.
